EMERGING ENTHUSIASTS

Junior Division

(ages 6-15)

Focus: Exposure, creativity, fundamentals, and character-building.​

  • Introduction to tools, safety, and basic mechanical concepts.

  • Building model cars, design challenges, supervised hands‑on projects.

  • Field trips to shops, garages, museums, car shows, swap meets, and other events.

  • Emphasis on teamwork, respect, and confidence.

  • No driving or unsupervised tool use.

  • Great for partnerships with elementary and middle schools, as well as other youth organizations.

Young Adult Division

(ages 16-24)

Focus: Skill development, responsibility, and career exploration.

  • Hands‑on restoration, fabrication, welding, paint, electrical, etc.

  • Driving‑related activities (where legal and safe).

  • Leadership roles within chapters.

  • Opportunities to mentor Junior Division members.

  • Exposure to trade schools, apprenticeships, engineering programs.

  • Ideal for high school, college, and early‑career participants.

Adult Division

(ages 25+)

Focus: Confidence‑building, skill acquisition, and personal growth for adults who are new to the craft or returning to it later in life. 

  • Hands‑on instruction in mechanical fundamentals, maintenance, restoration, fabrication, and creative automotive projects.

  • Emphasis on safety, proper technique, and building confidence with tools and equipment.

  • Opportunities to collaborate with Young Adult Division members.

  • Pathways into mentorship roles as skills and confidence grow.

  • A supportive, judgment‑free environment designed for late beginners, hobbyists, and adults seeking community.

  • Ideal for adults who want to learn practical skills, reconnect with automotive culture, or contribute to a multigenerational community.
